Blueprint Toys – Sew Desu Ne

I found this really gorgeous toy sewing pattern designer, called Choly Knight. You can purchase or download a range of different toys, pouches and plushies. They are in the most adorable patterns and if you’ve got an embroidery machine then you’re in for a treat as she included elements of embroidery in most of her toys.

What did you like about this pattern?

She has the most gorgeous toys with some free downloadable patterns as well. I’ve only made one of her toys so far but I’m really impressed. Her patterns are really well written with step-by-step instructions and diagrams, which is perfect for any beginner sewer. Plus, they’re absolutely adorable!!

This is an example of her Bat that I attempted in some really fluffy fleece material and just love. You can see on her example they had embroidered eyes and features but I’ve just instead appliqued these on instead. I think it still worked out pretty cute. However, if you have an embroidery machine those files are also included.

I’ve never really made toys before so I would consider myself a beginner in this field. You can see on the brown bat I accidentally put the ears on the wrong way but gosh, he’s still so cute.

Would you recommend to others?

If you have kids or friends you can create these for, I highly recommend these pattern. There are also a huge range of toys so you can be sure you’re going to find one you love. Her instructions and inclusions (embroidery files) are well worth the money.
