Charity Sewing – Stationery Aid

Stationery Aid collects, sorts, cleans, renews and donates excess and used education resources by creating book list and stationery boxes for our most vulnerable and disadvantaged students to start the school year. They collect pencils, pens, pencil cases, exercise books, notepads, and many more stationery supplies to help relieve poverty and misfortune to disadvantage school students.

Sewing Project – Pencil Roll Case

Create this pencil roll case and fill it with standard or coloured pencils. I ended up making 5 x pencil cases and also purchased matching $2 books from Kmart with some coloured pencils. You could also use any of the Kmart stationery items, which were under around $5. However, this charity also widely supports donating any unused stationery that would otherwise go to landfill.

Sewing Pattern

I have created a free downloadable sewing pattern to complete this project. Supplies include approximately 0.25 meter of fabric, firm interfacing lining (sew on) and snap closures.
